What is an 'inactive' contact?
An inactive contact is one that cannot be surveyed.
Contacts can be marked ‘inactive’ to end all current and future surveys to be sent to that contact (but have not unsubscribed). Promoter provides this ability by visiting the contact's profile. You can click on the button within the 'Status' section to toggle the contact's status from Active to Inactive.
This action will:
Cancel pending surveys
Keep the contact from receiving further surveys
If you decide a contact should now be in an 'Active' state and be eligible for surveys again, toggle the status back to Active.
Note that if you're unable to toggle the contact back to Active, then the contact has been unsubscribed which is a permanent action.
